This painting emerged during a time of transition — a space between who I have been and who I am becoming. The process held both quiet calm and agitation, moments of stillness alongside restlessness. It reflects the tension of standing with one foot in the old "me" and one in the authentic "me", navigating the unknown while learning how to let go.
Layers build and dissolve, mirroring the experience of shifting awareness — between holding on and surrender, between the human and the spiritual. Rather than a destination, this piece reflects the movement itself: the subtle, ongoing shift into a different state of consciousness.

This piece was built over many layers. For a long time, it felt like it wasn’t going anywhere—I kept adding and letting it reveal itself slowly. The moment I added that bold black line, everything shifted. It brought a burst of energy that pulled the whole painting together and made it come alive.
It’s a reminder to trust the process… sometimes the piece finds its voice right when you’re about to give up on it.

This work holds a sense of motion and release that I deeply connect with. It reflects a period of letting go—of loosening the restraints I had unknowingly placed on myself. While creating it, I thought of the dance of the stork, a symbol of new beginnings and transition.
